The Labská dam is made up of a rich population of rainbow trout, brook trout and grayling, many of which have been successfully wildened and acclimatized to local conditions. Thanks to frequent stocking, all fishermen will enjoy themselves, not just specialists in domesticated and natural food-eating fish. You can fish perfectly with a floating line and glass buzzers during static catching, as well as with a diving line in a depth of three meters and streamers. They often collect fish from the surface, so there is no shortage of thrilling fly fishing with a thin line and faithful imitations of hatching insects. So, come and catch fish in excellent condition and with adult fins, you will definitely be satisfied.

Area of ​​the Labská dam:
With a total area of ​​26 ha, the Labská dam is one of the largest trout fishing grounds. The maximum depth of over 40 m can give many surprises in the form of a large fish moving over the old riverbed. On the contrary, the upper part of the tributary, which is still defended, is much shallower and forms a natural reserve and fish spawning grounds. In the past, capital grayling over half a meter was caught here. This section is open during the summer.

There are currently two ways to purchase an allowance:
The ideal option is to buy a permit by telephone appointment directly in Špindlerův Mlýn, at Mr. Pavlík's (tel. +420 603 900 792), where you can also rent a bellyboat or wading pants.
There is no fixed time from-to when allowances are issued. It is necessary to make an agreement with Mr. Pavelík in advance, but I know from my own experience that he always tries to accommodate you and it does not happen that you do not receive a permit.
You can find the map and route where you can pick up the permit below. Mr. Pavlík lives about 1.7 km above the Elbe dam. However, you can get there easily by car.
