From the upper station of the cable car on Plány there is a very pleasant educational trail with the poetic name Mechová pěšinka. The moss trail measures only 4 kilometers and the entire route leads downhill. On this trail you will get acquainted with plants that are located in the Giant Mountains. You will recognize them by smell, search and examine. The path on a mossy path is not waiting for you, but during this trail you will learn a lot about the plants that grow in the Giant Mountains. You will search for them, examine them, sniff them, and write down everything you find out.
At the cash register at the lower station of the Na Pláň cable car, before the trip, pick up a diary with a map of the route in addition to the cable car ticket. You will write and draw in it. At the end of the tour you will receive a reward at the checkout for all the correct answers.
The mossy footpath leads from the upper station of the Na Pláni cable car via Hromovka by telephone back to Špindlerův Mlýn.
This nice nature trail was created on the initiative of the Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort.

Short description of the route: from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn → lower cable car Na Pláň - Svatý Petr → at the checkout pick up the competition map → cable car Na Pláň → Rozc. Na Pláni → Moss footpath (Telephone - Věřina cesta) → pick up your prize at the cash register → center of Špindl.
