You start the trip at the lower station of the Medvědín cable car, where you can buy a "bear ticket" for the cable car (cable car timetable and fare price list here) and request a map with a description of the route and a pencil you will need. Look for seven stops on the marked trail and bear marks at the indicated places, where you attach the field at the bottom of the map and hatch the bears with a pencil.
Along the way you will also visit two beautiful viewpoints - Šmídova vyhlídka and Harrachova skála. The reward will be unique views of the Giant Mountains and Spindleruv Mlyn.

The road is feasible in the summer, or during the summer operation of the cable car.
In winter the trail is not passable.

The trail is not completely ideal for prams, but with a little strength it can be managed. First you go along the footbridges over Svinské puddles, where here and there a wheel can get stuck between the boards of the footbridge - take a look at our photo gallery. Then comes probably the most difficult section of the whole road, climbing a stony path - see again our photo gallery. Then there is relief for a long time, when the road leads along a forest road or asphalt. The heavier surface is then from Horní Mísečky to Špindl.
