By car + cable car you drive from Špindlerův Mlýn to Pec pod Sněžkou. It is 50 km from Špindlerův Mlýn and an hour's drive away. The disadvantage of this trip is the long queues for the cable car in the summer season (sometimes up to 5 hours).

Brief description of the trip:
The journey begins at the bus station in Špindlerův Mlýn, from where there is a regular bus line Špindlerův Mlýn - Špindlerova bouda. We also recommend using Gotaxi services. Transport to Špindlerův Bouda (cars are not allowed). The starting point of the trip is Špindlerův bouda. After the first ascent, follow the path of Czech-Polish friendship to Polední habeny / Slonecznik, past the former hut of Prince Jindřich. Below you are the Maly and Velky Stav glacier lakes. (If the weather is bad you can turn right at the sign Równia pod Śnieżką towards Luční bouda and return to Špindlerův Mlýn.) You continue under Obří sedlo. You have Sněžka in front of you and a challenging climb awaits you. You are up! After conquering the top of Sněžka, return under Obří sedlo and the blue markings go over the Úpské rašeliniště towards Luční bouda. From Luční bouda drive towards Kozí hřbety and return to Svatý Petr and Špindlerův Mlýn.

Špindlerův Mlýn - bus stop. Bus Špindlerův Mlýn - Špindlerova Bouda. By bus or GoTaxi 9 km → Starting point: Špindlerův Bouda
You start from Špindlerův Bouda →  direction Polední kamy, Obří sedlo and Sněžka. You follow the Czech-Polish friendship route, the entire trip to Sněžka follow the red tourist signs - tourist signs Don't be afraid of the first 1.5 km ascent. After 3.5 km you are in an energetically strong and mystical place - Polední kamy / Slonecznik → former hut of Prince Jindřich - Prince Heinrich → view of the small and large state → signpost Równia pod Śnieżką = 6.5 km from Špindlerova bouda (in case of bad weather, fatigue, accident, etc. turn to Luční Bouda and return to Špindlerův Mlýn) →  Obří sedlo → SNĚŽKA →
Way back: Obří sedlo → Modrá - Blue direction Luční bouda → Úpské rašeliniště → Luční bouda → Stará Bucharova cesta  (! 400 m from Luční bouda, turn left - blue to Špindlerův Mlýn. However, you follow the red road - direction Kozí hřbety! → Viewpoint Kozí hřbety →  → Svatý Petr → Špindlerův Mlýn.
