FESTIVAL ECHOES 2025

A program full of films, discussions, exhibitions, and recordings from the conference of the best that Sportfilm offered in 2024.

Špindlerův Mlýn will this year become the host of the Festival Echoes of the International Sport Film Festival Sportfilm.

Audiences can look forward to a showcase of the best sports documentaries of 2024.

In addition to film screenings, the program will include a discussion with a VIP sports personality, an exhibition of photographs, and other accompanying activities.

The festival echoes promise a film marathon for all generations, full of sports and film stars.

Entry is free for all visitors.

PARIS, THE MECCA OF PARKOUR

Friends and parkour enthusiasts set off on an adventure to the suburbs of Paris to conquer jumps at the most iconic locations in the history of parkour. The weather puts them to the test and the jumps are bigger than they imagined. They sleep on the streets and survive.

 

A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PRINCESS STORY

Once upon a time, beyond high mountains and distant rivers, vast valleys and an old ski lift, in a small kingdom among the hills, there lived a princess named Klaudia. This story is about Klaudia Medlová, a professional snowboarder living in a small town in the middle of the mountains. And about her two favourite things in the world. You will find out what they are in the story.

 

MAXIM THE GREATEST

The story of an exceptional ice climber who, on 23 February 2024, completed one of the most remarkable free solo ascents in the world. At the same time, the main character, Stas Beskin, is modest, respectful and inspiring.

110 YEARS: The Story of a Czech Canoeist

The history of Czech canoeing on both wild and calm waters is extremely rich in various successes. It has also brought many interesting stories. The film focuses on the long tradition of the Czech Canoe Union between 1913 and 1923 and selects the best ones.
