BIG CHANGES AT THE VÝROVKA COTTAGE

New operators will take over the cottage on September 1 and plan to open at least the restaurant part right on the first weekend in September.

The Výrovka mountain hut in the Krkonoše Mountains, whose history dates back to the 18th century when a simple shelter grandly named Hotel Výrovka was built here, is picturesquely situated at an altitude of 1,356 meters at an important crossroads of tourist trails and is entering a new era.

 

The Czech Tourist Club (KČT), which owns this iconic mountain chalet, will entrust its operation to Good Hut, owned by Petr Bárta from Brádlerovy boudy and Jan Stejskal, owner of the successful Prague canteen chain and training center for chefs and pastry chefs, Sfood, on Monday, September 1. Jan Stejskal lives in Jilemnice and runs a catering business in Prague, among other things in collaboration with Zdeněk Pohlreich.

 

Opening and renovation

 

The new tenants are taking over Chata Výrovka with great enthusiasm and a clear vision. They plan to open at least the restaurant section on the first weekend in September to welcome their first guests and offer them refreshments after a demanding hike.

At the same time as the opening, they will embark on an extensive renovation to breathe new life into Výrovka and raise its standard even further to meet modern requirements for mountain accommodation and dining.

The priority will be a complete renovation of the kitchen, in which approximately CZK 2.5 million will be invested. In addition to the kitchen, the renovation will also affect the interior of the restaurant, which will undergo a significant transformation. 

During the fall, work will also move to the accommodation section, which will also undergo significant modifications. 

The goal is to improve the comfort and overall experience of visitors to the mountain chalet.

 

Výrovka: A traditional place with new energy

 

The Výrovka chalet is a popular destination for tourists and skiers thanks to its strategic location in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains.

The new tenants aim to preserve the traditional atmosphere of the mountain hut while enriching it with modern elements and high-quality gastronomic services.

Renovations and investments in equipment are intended to ensure that Výrovka remains an attractive place to relax and recharge your batteries in the beautiful nature of the Krkonoše Mountains in the future.
