PILGRIMAGE TO THE CHAPEL OF ST. FRANCIS 2026

Embark on a traditional pilgrimage to the picturesque surroundings of the Krkonoše Mountains and experience a spiritual and social gathering combined with beautiful mountain nature.

Pilgrimage program:

11:00 a.m. – start of the walking pilgrimage from St. Peter's Church in Špindlerův Mlýn
3:00 p.m. – solemn Holy Mass at the Chapel of St. Francis, main celebrant: Bishop Jan Vokál of Hradec Králové
4:15 p.m. – pilgrimage refreshments at the Erlebachova bouda restaurant (1150 m above sea level)

The Petach band will play to create a pleasant atmosphere.

The Chapel of St. Francis stands on a mountain ridge next to Erlebachova bouda, offering magnificent views of the Krkonoše Mountains.

The site can also be easily reached by bus, which runs from the center of Špindlerův Mlýn every hour on the half hour.
