KITE FESTIVAL 2026

A day of great fun with kites in the sky.

Flying kites on Medvědín.

At the lower cable car station, children can first paint their own kite and then take the cable car to Medvědín, where there will be competitions not only in kite flying.

The cable car is completely free for children participating in the kite event, and discounted tickets are available for their companions, valid on the day of the event from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A small reward is prepared for every participant in the kite event.

Programme:

Lower chairlift station:

12:00 – start of the kite-flying event
12:00 – 15:00 kite painting and accompanying activities
11:00 – 15:00 kite sales stall

13:00 – 18:00 – special chairlift fares for kite-flying festival participants

Upper chairlift station:

13:00 – 17:00 – kite flying, exhibition of painted kites
15:00 – sausages on sale and grilling
15:30 – 15:45 – main competition for the best-flying kite
16:00 – announcement of results

Special chairlift fares:

- children under 18 with a kite: free
- one-way adult ticket: 120,-
- return adult ticket: 190,-
