Route description

From Špindlerův Mlýn, more precisely from the lower station of the Medvědín chairlift, you will follow the blue trail that leads you along the asphalt road. On your right, the White Elbe River winds along and you can admire the waterfalls you meet along the way with amazement.

You will reach the U Bílého Labe hut, where you will join the Devil's Brook nature trail, which is not so well known, but definitely worth exploring. The Devil's Ravine is a magical narrow gorge where the stream was dammed at the end of the 19th century due to flooding. This created a beautiful artificial cascade of waterfalls.

The entire nature trail leading to the Devil's Mine is only a kilometre and a half long, so you can easily manage it even with small children who will be fascinated by the surrounding nature.

From the Devil's Mine you return the same way, through the valley of the White Elbe to the lower station of the Medvědín chairlift.
