Trip to Mumlava waterfalls

If you visit Harrachov, you should definitely see Mumlavský waterfall.

The Mumlavský waterfall is located about 1.5 km from the center of Harrachov, where you can take a very pleasant walk.

The Harrachov Mumlavský waterfall is less than 10 m high and 10 m wide. The Mumlavský waterfall in Harrachov is the richest waterfall in the Giant Mountains. Mumlava creates very interesting granite depressions here, which have been given the name Giant Pots. If you are planning a winter trip to the Mumlava waterfall, you will be amazed by the beautiful icefall, which is annually enchanted by the nature of the frozen falling Mumlava. The Mumlava waterfall is accessible all year round. You can reach the Mumlavský waterfall on foot, with a stroller or by bike.

Cars are not allowed to enter the Mumlavský waterfall. However, you can park your car for free near the bus stop in Harrachov or in the parking lot on the road from Harrachov to the border crossing to Poland. Entry to the Mumlavský waterfall is free. In return, please follow the rules of movement, do not throw away any rubbish or make any noise.


Trip from Mumlavské waterfalls to Špindlerův Mlýn

We will choose a one-way walking trip 15 km long.

Brief description of the trip:
From Mumlavské waterfalls you go on a beautiful hike along Mumlava to Krakonoš's breakfast, where you connect to Harrachova cesta you go to Rozcestí U čtyř pánů. You continue along the ridge to the Nad Kotelní jámou signpost and further through Horní Mísečky back to Špindlerův Mlýn.

Nad Kotelní jámou (U čtyř pánů - Nad Kotelní jámou = 1.4km / 0: 30h) → Old carriageway → Horní Mísečky →  → Špindlerův Mlýn (Nad Kotelní jámou - Špindlerův Mlýn = 6.2 km / 1.34 h)
Total walking distance Mumlavský waterfall - Špindlerův Mlýn = 15km / 5:38 h - one way
